MAIP Fellowship
The MAIP Fellowship Program is a premier training initiative designed for aspiring professionals eager to break into the advertising industry. The program connects those who are accepted to top tier advertising agencies. Participation was from April of 2024 until August of 2024.
Personal Statement
I am grateful for the opportunity to have joined MAIP and to have been exposed to the amazing people in the advertising industry. Learning from seasoned professional about the many aspects of the business from creative, to strategy, to account management, and so many more! Seeing how each discipline operates and they all connect with each other truly prepared me for my internship at Deutsch LA. I would whole-heartedly recommend anyone who is interested in advertising to apply to MAIP and take advantage of all they have to offer.
Internship Placements: Upon acceptance into the program, fellows are matched with leading advertising agencies across the country for immersive internship experiences. These placements provide hands-on exposure to the industry and opportunities to work on real-world projects.
Group Project: A team of 8-10 Fellows are brought together to complete a full advertising strategy to present to the official client at the end of the internship. This includes research, strategy breakdowns, creative revisions, and possible production forecasting. It is an excellent opportunity to not only practice for the real world, but to work together as a team to bring forward the best possible presentation.
Skill Sharpening Labs: Twice a week, fellows participate in skill-enhancing labs led by experts in various fields of advertising. These labs focus on developing essential skills, industry knowledge, and practical expertise to excel in the advertising sector.
